Sure, I've been telling you to buy my book, Draw Stronger: Self-Care for Cartoonists & Visual Artists, but now you don't have to take my advice. Frankly, I don't blame you for not paying attention to mercurial me. But listen to your pain, and consider the reviews from these reliable sources.
Publisher's Weekly.com
"Artists, designers, writers, and anyone else who spends their days hunkering over keyboards, squinting at screens, or posed over a drawing board will appreciate Willberg’s nerdy, pun-heavy advice for better self-care...This practical, handy volume is a worthy addition to many workplace bookshelves—preferably high up, requiring a standing stretch to reach it." (Apr.)
Intima: a Journal of Narrative Medicine
"What makes "Draw Stronger" different from other self-help books is Willberg's sense of humor that infuses every drawing, tip, fact, exercise and quip with originality and a lightness of being. While there will be pages you'll want to photocopy and tape up near your computer or sketch table for easy reference and reminders to stretch throughout the day, the book will also be a useful reference guide whenever a lightning bolt of raw pain shoots up your arm, neck, or back." —Donna Bulseco
Library Journal
"Willberg’s straightforward yet lighthearted delivery makes her advice enjoyable and easy to follow. This lively self-care guide should wake up artists, amateur and pro, and also apply to anyone who sits at the computer all day".

This is an interview, so I'm not going to quote myself. That seems a little.... weird.

INTERVIEW IN "THE RUMPUS"
What does a writer/reporter write/report about in August when there is nothing exciting happening on your beat? An interview you did in April, naturally!
The multi-talented Andrea Tsurumi covers the New York Comics and Picture-Story Symposium for The Rumpus, but the Symposium is on August hiatus. My husband R. Sikoryak and I have both presented at the Symposium. I guess that was enough of a connection for Andrea - voila! Here it is: http://therumpus.net/2013/08/the-new-york-comics-symposium-interview-with-r-sikoryak-kriota-willberg/
Get a sandwich or a coffee if you're determined to read the whole thing.

NEEDLEWORK IN "THE INTIMA"
An image of my needlepoint Root Canal has been published in the Spring 2013 edition of The Intima: A Journal of Narrative Medicine. The theme running through this latest volume is the concept of vantage points and the biases and and experiences that each one of us brings to the medical experience.
Here's the link for The Intima.

A RECENT ARTICLE ABOUT DRAWING
JUST DO IT
Here's a link to an article written by Hannah Means-Shannon. A writer, academic, critic, and friend who took our Anatomy for Cartoonists Class at the Society of Illustrators this fall. She writes about her process of reconnecting to drawing. She mentions that taking drawing classes gave her some of the incentive to get back into the pencil-saddle, so to speak.

(NO) PAIN! REVIEW BY ROB CLOUGH
Rob Clough reviewed (NO) PAIN! in the August 27, 2012 post of his blog High-Low. Thanks Rob! I met him at the Small Press Expo last weekend. He told me that although he's not a cartoonist, he found himself noticing his posture and working to improve his alignment. That's great!
Apparently, some attendees at the New York Comics & Picture-story Symposium have been scared straight (into better posture!) by an injury prevention presentation I gave on September 10th. I hope this minicomic increases the mean height of the comics community by 2 inches.
